A Neighborhood Space
Where Anyone Can Find Encouragement & Peace
For a decade, we have worked tirelessly to create and maintain artistic, peaceful spaces that uplift and activate our community. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to take on our most ambitious project yet: the restoration of 3829 Hale Avenue, now known as Granny’s House.
Gail (pictured) the Granny of a WEWC member, like many grandmothers, taught us to find strength in community and the importance of caring for one another.
She never met a stranger and her generosity knew no bounds. Grandmothers hold the stories, wisdom and power of generations within them. Just as Gail’s legacy lives on, Granny’s House stands as a reminder to the enduring influence of grandmothers like her.

For a decade, we have worked tirelessly to create and sustain artistic, peaceful spaces that uplift and activate our community. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to take on our most ambitious project yet: the restoration of 3829 Hale Avenue, now known as Granny’s House.
This beautiful space, filled with history and potential, is being lovingly brought back to life with funds raised from past #GiveForGoodLou donations. As we mark this special birthday, we reflect on the legacy we’ve built together and look forward to the future we will create.
Honoring Our Granny’s
Granny’s House will honor Granny’s like Delores Ann and Mary, Gail, and many other grandmothers who taught us to find strength in community and the importance of caring for one another.
